Miah PullenOwnerI was born and raised in Texas, and began dancing at the age of two. My passion for dance was intensified in high school when I was on the high school's drill team, which is one of the oldest drill teams in the state of Texas. On the team I served as Junior Lt. and Co-Captain my senior year, where I enhanced my dance skills, but also my leadership skills. After high school and entering college, I started renting out a local studio to teach dance team prep classes for dancers who wanted to try out for the high school dance team. The business eventually grew enough to where I was able to open her own studio in August 2017, where in my first year open I ended the season with 180 dancers! The studio now has around 450+ dancers. I wanted to keep expanding my love and passion for dance, hence the Abilene location! Also in February 2021, we launched our online dance studio for kids, Dance with Me. I also was coordinator for the Angelo State Angelettes dance team for 3 years, and am a college instructor at Howard College. I have been married to my husband Ronnie (and now business partner) for over two years and we have two whippets, Ellie and Brock.

Ashley WelchStudio ManagerAs a child I did gymnastics, tap & ballet, but in elementary school I was introduced into the cheerleading world! I was a part of Super Squad in fifth & sixth grade and continued cheerleading all three years at Lee Jr. High in San Angelo, Texas. My interest peaked again for dance when I saw the Central High School Tex-Anns perform at a freshman orientation for San Angelo Central High School. I was a part of Tex-Anns all three years at Central High School. I had the privilege of being on the officer line my junior year as 2nd Lt. and senior year as Co-Captain. I continued dancing at the collegiate level for the Angelo State University Angelettes. I also danced for the Stampede Express Arena Football dance team for two years and the Bandits Arena Football team for one year. Also, I tried out for the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders, and although I did not make the team it was a great learning experience for me. I have been teaching dance since 2019 with Prep Academy, and can't wait to manage the Abilene studio!

Bridget ClemDance InstructorI began my experience in the arts at eight with gymnastics classes and later cheer. I continued that for four years until I attended the first annual Mini Belles Drill Team Camp. Instantly I knew I wanted to pursue dance and drill team. I went on to take hip hop, lyrical, ballet, traditional irish folk, jazz, and tap classes at the Abilene Performing Arts Center. I danced with the Wylie Belles Drill Team in Junior High and High School. In that time I was chosen to be a Lieutenant in both Junior Belles in 8th grade and Varsity Belles my junior and senior year. I am now happy to be at Abilene Christian University dancing on their Wildcat Dance Team. My proudest moment in dance was teaching and choreographing the Wylie High School's fall musical, Grease. I am excited for this coming dance season!

Haleigh SmithDance InstructorI began dancing at the age of two in Austin and I took several classes in ballet, tap and hip hop. When I turned 10 I decided I wanted to play soccer instead but it didn’t work out. I was back in the studio talking ballet and contemporary. After my freshman year in high school I decided to get out of my comfort zone and tryout for my drill team! I made it! I was able to make captain my senior year too. I was accepted to Hardin Simmons and tried out to became a Spurs dancer! I am now a senior at Hardin Simmons and can’t wait to teach dance!

Madi FordDance InstructorGrowing up I was involved in gymnastics for 14 years and I was on Abilene High’s varsity team. I did not start dancing until 8th grade and started with ballet. I later took pointe, modern, contemporary, jazz, hip hop, tap, acro, and was on competition team. That lead me to trying out for Abilene High’s Gold Rush dance team. I just graduated from high school and was excepted to Hardin Simmons! I am proud to say I made the Spurs team!

Rylee DawsonDance InstructorGrowing up, dance has always been a huge part of my life! I started dancing at the age of two and my passion for the art never stopped. I danced competitively in my hometown of Victorville, California for eleven years and have earned a few regional titles. Throughout my competitive years, I worked in various styles including tap, ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and pom! I am in love with the art and creativity that comes with all styles of dance! After high school, I had the opportunity to continue my work in dance and education at Abilene Christian University, where I am studying to become an elementary educator.

Paige CudiniDance InstructorI’ve been dancing since I was 2 years old and have trained in ballet, pointe, tap, contemporary, lyrical, modern, jazz, hip hop, pom, kick and ballroom. From ages 3 to 17 I danced competitively. While being on a competitive studio team, I was also a member of my high schools drill team, the Crimson Cadettes. During this time, I began both assisting and teaching multiple studio classes and competition teams with ages ranging from 3 to 18. In addition, I made my first step into the professional world after being offered a character performer role at Disney World in 2020. Unfortunately, due to Covid, I wasn’t able to perform in the role, but took the opportunity to try out for the Houston Texans Cheerleaders during the downtime and made it through round 2 of 3. The Texans Tryouts has been one of my favorite experiences and I can’t wait to try out again. Currently, I’m a 3rd year officer for the Abilene Christian University Dance Team and love every moment of it. I am so excited to meet all of you and help you grow your passion for dance!

Madelyn GuerraLittle Stars Instructor/Assistant Dance InstructorEver since I was little, dance has been my number one passion! I started dancing at the age of 2 and as I got older, I began to fall in love with it more and more. I grew up in Round Rock, TX and attended various studios. As my heart grew more towards dancing, I decided to be apart of the drill teams at both my middle school and high school. While in high school, I danced competitively at my studio and for the Leander High School Blue Belles Drill Team. I have had the opportunity to compete and perform at many competitions, conventions, football games, and professional basketball games around Texas. While being on my High School drill team, I got the opportunity to be a leader. I was 2nd Lt my junior year and made captain my senior year! After being a leader for my drill team, I knew I had wanted to continue leading here in Abilene! I am attending Abilene Christian University and studying Youth and Family Ministry and minoring in Psychology. I can’t wait to share my passion with this next generation while teaching here at Prep Academy Dance Studio, and meet many others who share the same passion as me! My favorite styles to teach are hip hop, jazz, tap, ballet, and contemporary!

Abby TrammellCheer InstructorI started my experience in cheer with gymnastics. My mom was a gymnastics coach so I was at every class there was. Later on, I decided to start cheering in the pee wee football league when I was about 7. Since then, I have cheered and made the junior high and high school team at Aspermont ISD. When I graduated high school I tried out for the McMurry University cheer team and made it! I have been a collegiate cheerleader all four years and have been a captain for the last two. I am so excited for this journey and to be able to share the love I have for cheer with these girls.
